Planet Hollywood has rolled out a new promotion for its Twitter followers and Facebook friends that makes rooms at the Strip resort cheaper than many of Las Vegas’ budget hotels.
The hotel-casino’s Phanatic Pass offers 10 nights for $599, making each night’s stay less than $60. But the 10-night stay doesn’t need to be done all at once. The offer gives visitors the option of being flexible.
The nights need to be used between Nov. 15 and March 15, 2010.
The Phanatic Pass has no blackout dates so guests can use the deal during big weekends including New Year’s, the Super Bowl and upcoming events like Miss America and the Dave Matthews Band concert.
The deal includes a standard room at Planet Hollywood with views of the Bellagio fountains and a complimentary bottle of liquor of the guest's choice. The Phanatic Pass lets visitors bypass resort fees but a 12 percent tax does apply.
Technorati

Dumb promo. I can beat those rates almost anywhere else in town.
Resort fees?
How in the world does PH think that they are eligible for charging anyone a resort fee?
Great pool - no.
Great spa - no.
Great rooms - no.
Joke that they even mention this or have this fee to begin with! They are not Bellagio, Phoenician or Walt Disney Swan Dolphin.
Complete joke!
no blackout dates is pretty clutch. Find a room $60 bucks on New Years at a comparable hotel. I doubt it.
looks like some of these resorts are grudgingly coming around to offer consumers a little value, but this is not far enough. It's a start..

...I believe there is a pool topside somewhere, we shot a movie sometime ago and I was one of the coolies transporting film gear through the most ridiculous trail in the city.
...The 600 dollar deals sounds respectable considering Christmas, New Years and Superbowl are encapsulated in that time schedule, maybe they're throw in Saint Patrick's day as a closer.
...Today's modern world requires a crash pad within a 1500 meter radius for serious revelers.
...I still recommend a weeks stay at a nearby Budget Suite for long distance travelers as a weeks tariff beats an outrageous New Years ripoff nights stay usually a two night minimum.
This leaves you with plenty of change for dippy eggs and Gatorade to stock the kitchenette adding more savings over those holiday breakfasts. Private TV viewing and a nearby Sports Book to lay Bowl Game bets beats a marathon drinking session at a casino pub, those six dollar Buds add up. You can wiggle your toes in bed while changing channels.
...So if Planet Hollywood survives I think six hundred dollars is a good buy for that three holiday spread as a crash pad beats a fifteen hundred DUI fee any day on those heavy Metro enforcement days especially if you have a belligerent loud mouth girl friend with a lisp...
