The Nevada Cancer Institute's board of directors elected Stephen Cloobeck, CEO of Diamond Resorts International, chairman of the board.
Cloobeck will replace Heather Murren, founding chairwoman for the past eight years, July 1.
Murren is the wife of Jim Murren, CEO of MGM Mirage. Heather Murren will remain on the board, institute spokeswoman Jennifer McDonnell said.
