Every year when NASCAR comes to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, I grab my sketchbook and head out to the track to draw a few cartoons. In addition to today’s blog, I’ll be posting some sketches on Saturday and Sunday.
Naturally, no sketchbook would be complete without a few sketches about all of the attention Danica Patrick is receiving. Here are a few drawings I came up with today.

Amen and amen and amen. Did you hear that Danica had twittered, back on 2/12, asking for a nickname? Hypezilla? Bride of Earnhardt? Or maybe something more Native American, like Runs With Copy? -- Naw. Maybe you can make a caption contest out of it, with the blank space at the bottom of the way-too-tall pedastel she's on these days ... -- Enjoy your days at LMS!
Nice toons! Actually I think she is butt ugly visually and in her demeanor even more.
However she is doing more to create jobs than Harry Gried with all the new cars she needs every race.
Jr. better get a second job if he expects to keep up with supplying her in disposable cars.
