My condolences to anyone who missed Saturday’s Craftsman Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was a great race that included the type of wild, wreck-filled finish that’s typical of truck races at this track.
While walking around the garage I did notice a few things I found to be humorous. The Sprint Cup sponsors usually include household names like M&M’s, Pepsi and Office Depot. But the truck series includes sponsors that, shall we say, aren’t quite as Madison Avenue.
My favorite was FarmPaint.com. At first I imagined that this was some kind of weird Web site for a new country-western band. But I checked the site and it’s selling just what the name suggests, farm paint. Another favorite was the sponsor for the No.15 truck, Hyprene-Ergon asphalt and emulsions. No wimpy candy sponsorship for this team. There was also GunBroker.com. You wouldn’t want to make those guys angry. But the most eye-popping sponsor had to the No. 7 truck that had Heathcliff Cat Litter emblazoned across its side. Fill the truck’s bed up and you could have the world’s largest cat litter box.

You're sexist.
"It's lipstick for pigs" would have been sexist.
No, "It's lipstick for pigs" would have been funny.
Actually, aren't female pigs called sows? I think pig or boar refers to the male of the species. I really dunno, I'm from the city.
