  1. What can I say ..... go JGR!! (Except those friggin' Toyota's will take a while to get used to.) But then, they are the only car in NASCAR that is 'Made in the USA'! Go figure.

  2. arent the engine blocks cast in japan? toyota bought a foundry to do this several years ago?

  3. yep theys the FASTEST of the new SLOW cars !! it only took a couple million in R&D and then for Na$car to slow EVERYBODY down , BUT TOYOTA is finally the fastest in nascar!!
( who says money cant buy happiness )

  4. I could be corrected here ... and notwithstanding various 'global' parts which all cars have these days, that it looks like this: Chevy Impala - built in Canada, Ford Fusion - built in Mexico, Dodge Avenger - built in Canada, and Toyota Camry - built in the USA, Georgetown, Kentucky I think.
    Weird but true!

  5. Toyota isn't the fastest in NASCAR, some fast drivers are the fastest in NASCAR, and some of them happen to be driving Toyota's now. This is only one test session at one track 'sparxmoore', not the season! Myself, I expect Smoke and Shrub (Kyle Busch) to be fast whatever they are driving. Check Waltrip's speeds - blah! Joe Gibbs Racing has real engine people, they can adapt to a new engine with a little time, that's why they are well established and well paid. Gibbs is not an idiot. Go Smoke!!

  6. APPARENTLY can fan doesnt get sarcasm ...And by the way i LOVE seeing toni and kid kyle GOING FAST !! I guess im just glad that VOLKSWAGON didnt have a billion dollars to buy there way in to a sport !!
Maybe next year na$car can level out the field IN THE PITS....make every team use a couple retirees over the wall ? would make the stops MUCH safer , and HELL espn can sell twice as many commercials !! ( sarcasm again )

  7. Hey sparxmoore, maybe I missed your 'sarcasm', but I do like your 'Na$car' a lot. I also agree with you, I think, that level, level, level, makes boring, boring, boring. Volkswagon? God help us!!
